Savant’s fastball set for its percentile rankings; its custom leaderboard adds cutters. Each speed is summed exactly as published, so a mean on a rounding edge can’t flip.

Era caveats

Three tracking systems across the seasons shown

Statcast used TrackMan through 2019, Hawk-Eye for 2020–2022, and Hawk-Eye with bat tracking from 2023. The systems differ in what they measure and how precisely, so long spans cross a measurement boundary as well as a rule one.

2026-09-27: Added to the Explorer. Checked against Savant’s Statcast Search fastball velocity, every pitcher it publishes: 804 of 804 in 2025 and 724 of 725 in 2016, the one miss an exact rounding tie.
